The youth of Abrem Agona has arise for positive change in their community.
Abrem Agona is a subarb of the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem Municipal. Presumably the third Largest community of the Municipal.
Despite the rich history, culture and her prudence in electoral decisions on Parliamentary Seats and other decisions in the Municipal, the community is the least developed in the Municipal.
Abrem Agona is blessed with rich land for cultivation of all kinds of farm produce predominantly Cassava, plantain, maize, millet, vegetables, etc. But the community lack common social amenities such us public toilet facility, proper health care facility, police post, market place, football field, community center, just to mention the few. This has ginger the youths in from the community those home and those in diaspora to come together to start doing something for themselves and their route.
Looking at how politicians have deceived them, they sort not to look up to them any longer, and they have vowed never to allow any politician in their community for campaign this year 2020 during the December polls for they will vote by their own conscience without any convincing words from these “fake politicians” they say.
On sitting up for their own development, they have started using the social media as a starting point because they cannot meet as group physically due to the Corona virus.
So they are calling all Agonaians to join hands together to build their ancient town. And they are supported by the King his Royal Majesty Nana Terpoh V and all the opinion leaders.
Addressing His Youths on their WhatsApp platform Nana Terpoh V, spoke on major key areas of development He together with his Kingsmen has started making steps towards them and asked for the full support and backing from his youth.
